Hi! 大家好, I'm Johanna Chen.

I am a multi-disciplinary designer and a video creator on a mission to create impactful visual experiences that empower people's lives. Growing up in China, I was deeply influenced by my father, an artist, who sparked my interest in traditional Chinese art and Western design styles.

Beginning my career as a Visual Designer, I discovered my passion for UX Design during my undergrad at Seattle Pacific University. After earning my master's in Interaction Design from Northeastern University, my journey led me to Walmart, where I've had the privilege of leading the UX/UI design for an iOS augmented reality application and designing a Mixed Reality enterprise application for the Apple Vision Pro. Prior to Walmart, I was a UX Designer at Amazon Robotics on the System & Product team, focusing on enhancing the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) through User Research. This experience deepened my ability to design solutions that seamlessly bridge digital and physical spaces.

With a background in Visual Design and a focus on Human-Centered Design, I leveraged visual storytelling and empathy to meet user needs. My goal is to continue making a positive impact on people's lives by designing delightful experiences that are both engaging and inclusive.
